2012 Highlights



After working with The Clear Image Company on the backing visuals for Peter Andre's tour we also joined them at the O2 Arena to help film the show. We also filmed the excellent Private Jet live in Reading.

Corporate projects included a Health & Safety training DVD, shooting around the country for an annual conference video and filming TV & radio presenter Paul Ross for Fleetdrive.



In addition to providing video content for inclusion in this year's JCT Povey Lecture to the construction & property industry, during November we also worked again with our friends The Clear Image Company on the backing visuals for Peter Andre's "Up Close & Personal" UK tour.

The 31-date tour visits a mixture of theatres and arenas, including London O2 Arena on 4 December.



October's projects included a case study about how the amazing Hedonism Wines in Mayfair use electric vans to deliver around London and two to-camera internal comms videos for a large client.

We also filmed several local events including the Michaelmas Fair (the longest street fair in Europe) and the presentation of tourism research findings by Hidden Britain to the Choose Abingdon AGM.



In September we filmed Nathan James' album launch event at SUB89 in Reading, following his successful TV appearances on The Voice and Superstar earlier in the year. The man can sing!

We also filmed Patrick Bird presenting at an Association of Accounting Tecnicians event in Reading, as well as the Wedding Fair and Local Excellence Market in Abingdon.



August's projects included filming operational staff to be used during a tender bid presentation.

What a great use of video, allowing the potential client to hear first-hand how the service would be delivered from the people who would be doing it rather than a salesperson!

We also worked on recruitment and training videos for Next and Vodafone.



In July we worked with Farren Drury MBE again to produce a short promo video for the new Make It Yours visual success mapping iPad app.

We also filmed walking study tours of Brighton & Southampton with Peter Brett Associates, mystery shopper interviews for Lex Autolease, a trainee welcome video for Wates and a social media workshop by Chantal Cornelius of Appletree and Mary Thomas of Concise Training.



June's projects included a 30 second promo for RAC produced in partnership with Milestone to be shown on the big screens at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Filmed on the famous hillclimb it went from brief to delivery in under 48 hours!

We also filmed the Jubilee bun throwing in Abingdon attended by James May, a conference at Emirates Stadium and Alistair Corrie presenting at an FSB event.



In May we made our third promo for Swindon party band Pop of Ages, this time shot at GateHouse Studios rather than live. A great band to work with and highly recommended!

We also filmed Wates CEO Paul Drechsler as part of an introduction for new management trainees, made a new promo video for InterActive Performance Management and shot footage of the excellent Abingdon Air & Country Show.



April's projects included a video made with our partners Milestone for FilmLight to use at the NAB Show in Las Vegas. Elegant illustrations were animated in After Effects to show the application of FilmLight products throughout the production workflow.

We also shot a review of the new Renault Kangoo ZE electric van for Fleetdrive and filmed the chairman of Wates for use at their Supply Chain Awards Ceremony.



In March we filmed the Good Living event at Miele, showcasing local food, wine and crafts.

We also worked on the supporting video for Abingdon's bid to become a Portas Pilot Town and Lex Autolease's budget podcast.

Music projects included a workshop for students working on The MIC (Music In Crawley) project and filming Imperial Leisure live in Oxford.



February's projects included a spoof news programme for Lex Autolease to be shown at their leadership conference. It was all filmed against the green screen to allow new backgrounds to be dropped in. A really fun shoot!

We also added subtitles to some previously edited training videos for Next.



In January we completed the dramatic opening video for Wates' annual company conference which was a review of 2011 incorporating testimonial videos shot all over the UK.

We also shot several more customer interviews for Wates Living Space South and updated Fleetdrive's promo video with additional footage and new graphics.
